Job summary

Mental Health Association of Rochester is seeking a CT Technologist to provide high-quality imaging services within our healthcare team.

The role involves performing CT procedures, optimizing image quality while minimizing radiation exposure, and ensuring patient comfort and safety. Candidates should hold ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, and BLS certifications, with at least one year of radiology experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completed an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• At least one year of radiology experience.
• ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), and BLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures and adjust techniques for diagnostic quality while minimizing radiation exposure.
• Explain procedures using AIDET and obtain clinical history.
• Administer contrast with sterile technique and position patients.
• Review images for quality and document in RIS/PACS.
• Monitor patient conditions, respond to emergencies, and maintain equipment and workspace in infection-control standards.
