Job summary

Adventist Health Mendocino County seeks a CT Technologist to operate CT scanners, producing cross-section images for diagnosis. You will provide clinical care with strong technical and organizational skills in a fast-paced radiology department.

This role requires ARRT CT certification, an associate degree in Radiologic Technology, and several years of CT experience. You will work on site in Fort Bragg, CA, supporting patient care and collaborating with radiologists.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology required.
• Three years CT technologist experience preferred.
• ARRT RT (CT) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates patient care from adolescence to geriatric.
• Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
• Uses PACS and teleradiology to transfer images to the correct location.
• Ensures department, equipment and staff meet accreditation standards.
• Leads accreditation processes for the CT modality.
• Plans daily patient workload and ensures adequate staffing.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
