Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
• Three years' CT technologist experience preferred.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: RT (R)(CT)(ARRT) or RT (R)(ARRT) required.
• Radiologic Tech license in state of practice (CA) required.
• Advanced CT certification: required in OR and HI; CA preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Fluoroscopy license: CA/HI preferred.
• Venipuncture certification: CA/HI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients spanning adolescence to geriatric.
• Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
• Use PACS and teleradiology system to transfer images to appropriate locations.
• Ensure department, equipment and staffing meet accreditation requirements (JCAHO, ACR, State Licensures).
• Lead accreditation processes with governing bodies for CT modality.
• Plan daily patient workload and provide adequate staffing, covering vacations and sick days.
