Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • ARRT Radiography and Computed Tomography certifications.
  • Minimum 2 years clinical experience, with at least 1 year in CT.
  • Licenses including BLS and other relevant certifications.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and multitasking skills.
  • Deep knowledge of anatomy, pathology, radiation safety, and advanced CT protocols.
  • Ability to work independently, under pressure, and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Verify clinician orders and obtain patient history.
  • Ensure proper patient identification, labeling, and safety protocols.
  • Respond to emergencies and maintain life-support equipment.
  • Assist with patient preparation and post-procedure care.
  • Operate imaging equipment, perform quality control, and process images.
  • Maintain departmental workflow, supplies, and equipment.
  • Mentor and support fellow technologists, participate in departmental meetings and process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and documentation accuracy.
