Job summary

RadNet is seeking a Lead CT Technologist to join a team delivering patient-centered imaging across Nassau and Suffolk County. The role involves supervising technologists, coaching, and ensuring high-quality imaging, safety, and regulatory compliance.

This position offers cross-training, performance feedback to the Imaging Center Manager, and opportunities to advance within a patient-focused, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT certification required.
• State license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology required.
• CPR certification required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide feedback regarding performance and quality of technologists to the Imaging Center Manager.
• Manage and provide coaching, training, support and motivation to team members.
• Monitor and document performance during performance periods and provide documentation to the ICM.
• Promote flexibility in staff utilization and delegate work across teams and departments.
• Adhere to OSHA regulations, RadNet practices and safety protocols.
• Perform technologist duties to maintain technical skills and alleviate staffing shortages.
• Provide input for hiring and performance evaluation of Ultrasound employees.
• Act on behalf of the ICM when the ICM is unavailable.

This position will float to locations across Nassau and Suffolk County, as needed.

You Will

• Provide the Imaging Center Manager (ICM) with feedback regarding performance and quality of technologists.


• Manage and provide coaching, training, support and motivation to team members.


• Monitor and document performance during performance periods and provides documentation to the ICM.


• Promote flexibility in staff utilization and delegate work appropriately across teams and departments.


• Adheres to all OSHA regulations, RadNet practices and generally accepted safety protocols.


• Performs technologist duties to maintain technical skills and to alleviate staffing shortages.


• Provide input for hiring and performance evaluation of Ultrasound employees


• Acts on behalf of the ICM when individual is unavailable.

You Are

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have

• ARRT(R) (CT) certification


• State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology


• CPR certification


• A familiarity with and ability to use equipment in including RIS, imaging equipment and PACS.


• A demonstrated the ability to maintain all required quality standards


• Must have BLS certification

Pay Range: $50.00 - $65.00 per hour
