Job summary

RadNet, a leading radiology provider in Cape Coral, FL, seeks a CT Technologist to join our dedicated team. You will perform high-quality CT exams, monitor patient well-being, administer contrast safely, and guide patients through the imaging process to ensure comfort and clear results.

State licensure and ARRT CT certification are required, with BLS depending on state regulations. Prior diagnostic imaging experience is preferred, and we offer comprehensive benefits and professional advancement

Qualifications

• State licensure and ARRT CT certification required where applicable.
• Active ARRT CT certification and BLS certification may be required by state regulations.
• Minimum of one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

You Will

• Perform high quality radiologic, CT exams on incoming patients.
• Monitor patient's well-being during exams; recognize s patient discomfort or medical problems and take s appropriate action.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
• Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
• Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
• Demonstrates ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have

• State regulations may necessitate the following certifications: state licensure, ARRT (R), and/or ARRT (CT)
• BLS certification depending on state regulations
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred!

Pay Range is $35-$46 per hour.
