Job summary

Radiology Forward is seeking a Lead CT Technologist who will float to locations across Nassau and Suffolk County to deliver high‑quality imaging and patient care.

You will coach staff, monitor performance during appraisals, ensure OSHA safety, and support hiring and cross‑training in a collaborative, team‑driven environment.

Required: ARRT CT, state radiologic license, CPR and BLS; a signing bonus is offered to join our growing imaging network.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT certification required.
• State license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology.
• CPR certification.
• BLS certification.
• Familiarity with RIS, imaging equipment and PACS.

Responsibilities

• Provide feedback to the Imaging Center Manager on technologist performance and quality.
• Coach, train, support and motivate team members.
• Monitor performance during appraisal periods and document results.
• Promote flexible staffing and delegate work across teams.
• Adhere to OSHA regulations and safety protocols.
• Perform technologist duties to maintain skills and cover staffing shortages.
• Provide input on hiring and performance evaluations of Ultrasound staff.
• Act on behalf of the ICM when unavailable.

You Will:

• Provide the Imaging Center Manager (ICM) with feedback regarding performance and quality of technologists.
• Manage and provide coaching, training, support and motivation to team members.
• Monitor and document performance during performance periods and provides documentation to the ICM.
• Promote flexibility in staff utilization and delegate work appropriately across teams and departments.
• Adheres to all OSHA regulations, RadNet practices and generally accepted safety protocols.
• Performs technologist duties to maintain technical skills and to alleviate staffing shortages.
• Provide input for hiring and performance evaluation of Ultrasound employees
• Acts on behalf of the ICM when individual is unavailable.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have:

• ARRT(R) (CT) certification
• State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology
• CPR certification
• A familiarity with and ability to use equipment in including RIS, imaging equipment and PACS.
• A demonstrated the ability to maintain all required quality standards
• Must have BLS certification

Pay Range: $50.00 - $65.00 per hour
