Job summary

US Department of Veterans Affairs in Charlotte seeks a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist Supervisor (CT) to lead CT operations within Diagnostic Imaging Service, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care.

The role requires supervising CT technologists, coordinating schedules, and guiding quality control and workflow improvements. Experience in CT and PACS, with ARRT certification, is preferred for advancement to GS-10 level.

Qualifications

  • One year of experience equivalent to GS-9 in radiologic technology or closely related field.
  • ARRT (R) certification in radiologic technology; CT requires advanced CT certification.
  • Completion of a full-time 24-month radiologic technology program accredited by JRCERT or DOE-recognized accreditor.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the CT section and Diagnostic Radiologic Technologists.
  • Evaluate new products and equipment; advise management on upgrades and operational needs.
  • Manage staffing variances and coordinate scheduling; participate in performance evaluations.
