Job Summary And Qualifications

• Obtains quality CT images. Demonstrates competence in following established scanning protocols and exercises ability to adjust protocols as required.
• Complies with radiation safety guidelines. Operates CT equipment safely.
• Demonstrates ability to perform all necessary computer operations to ensure proper examination documentation and charges. Records pertinent data on CT requisition at all times.
• Renders patient care in professional and courteous manner.
• Prepares CT scanner and perform quality control tests. Monitors inventory of supplies and maintains room cleanliness and neat appearance.

Qualifications you will need

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT).
• ARRT (CT) Registered – must obtain within 6 months of hire or start in position.
• Three year experience as Radiologic Technologist.
• Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology Program or equivalent with appropriate National Registry(ies).
