Job summary

Pardee UNC Health Care in North Carolina seeks a Lead Imaging Technologist to oversee the CT Department and coordinate patient scheduling, daily assignments, and staff training. The role ensures smooth CT operations while guiding protocol changes and quality improvements.

The Lead Technologist works with hospital staff, physicians and patients, and helps manage training, credentialing, and equipment maintenance to support safe, accurate CT imaging across adult and pediatric patients.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Science program.
• Registration as CT technologist with ARRT.
• 2 years of clinical work experience in imaging.
• Good understanding of human anatomy.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and triages procedures based on priority level and skills needed.
• Performs routine and complex diagnostic CT scans.
• Coordinates training and development of CT staff and participates in performance evaluations.
• Monitors equipment, supplies, and maintenance; coordinates repairs and upgrades.
• Participates in QA programs and assists with special projects as assigned.
