Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CST training program.
• CST certification required upon hire and maintained.
• Experience scrubbing major procedures across generalized surgical specialties.
• Current BLS (AHA) certification on hire and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced sterile preparation and serve as primary scrub for complex cases.
• Provide intraoperative support by passing instruments and troubleshooting equipment.
• Coordinate case preparation with implants and specialized instrumentation.
• Mentor and onboard new surgical technologists; promote patient safety.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and accurate case documentation.
