Job summary

Voyager Technologies, Inc. in Mojave is seeking a senior propulsion engineer to advance propulsion systems for sub‑orbital VTVL vehicles. You will work across sizing, design, fabrication, and testing, reporting to the Propulsion Lead and collaborating with the Pittsburgh office.

Requirements include a B.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, 6+ years in rocket propulsion, and hands‑on experience with cryogenic propellants and high‑pressure systems. Relocation assistance is provided.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• 6+ years of rocket propulsion experience.
• Experience with cryogenic propellants (liquid methane and liquid oxygen preferred).
• Experience in designing and analyzing high‑pressure fluid/pneumatic systems.
• Proven capability to develop conceptual designs, perform trade studies, and down select to a design baseline.

Responsibilities

• Support design and test of rocket propulsion systems using cryogenic propellants.
• Size propulsion components (valves, feed lines, tanks, turbomachinery).
• Design and analyze combustion devices (injectors, chambers, nozzles, gas generators).
• Build and run fluid‑thermal models to predict behavior; perform trade studies.
• Lead hardware drawings for manufacturing; create component specifications.
• Develop test plans, execute tests, and post‑process results.
