Job summary

Voyager Technologies, based in the Mojave office, is advancing propulsion systems for sub-orbital VTVL vehicles. You will contribute across design, analysis, fabrication, and testing, reporting to the Propulsion Lead as part of a joint team with our Pittsburgh office.

The role emphasizes hands-on design, modeling, and test execution with collaboration in a small, capable propulsion group. A BS in ME or AE is required, with 2+ years in propulsion; MS is a plus.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• 2+ years in propulsion design, analysis, manufacture, integration or test.
• Experience with system-level fluid-thermal modeling tools.
• Solid modeling experience; SolidWorks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist design and test of rocket propulsion systems.
• Size propulsion components like turbomachinery, valves, tanks.
• Perform trade studies using fluid-thermal models.
• Create solid models for modeling or fabrication.
• Develop test plans and process results.
• Write technical reports and present findings.
