Voyager Technologies, Inc. in Mojave, CA is seeking a Lead Propulsion Engineer to direct the propulsion team developing cryogenic propulsion systems. You will design, analyze, test, and scale propulsion technologies, mentoring engineers and coordinating with other subsystems to meet program goals.

The role requires a BS in engineering, 10+ years in rocket propulsion, and strong leadership skills to guide multi-year projects and ensure safety and technical excellence.

Qualifications

• BS in Aerospace/Mechanical engineering required.
• 10+ years in rocket propulsion development, with 5+ years in cryogenic systems.
• Experience coordinating a technical team of 3+ engineers on multi-year projects.
• Experience in propulsion system design, analysis, manufacture, integration and test.

Responsibilities

• Lead the propulsion team in developing new rocket propulsion systems.
• Provide technical direction across design, analysis, integration, test and operations.
• Ensure propulsion work aligns with best practices across projects.
• Mentor propulsion engineers on performance, career development and priorities.
• Coordinate with lead engineers of other subsystems to meet project goals.
• Develop and review test plans and lead readiness reviews.
