Job summary

Voyager Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Chief Engineer V (Team Manager) for Controllable Solid Propulsion in Strategic Systems, based in Folsom, CA.

This autonomous technical leader will oversee end-to-end mission success of solid rocket propulsion programs, guiding large multidisciplinary teams and aligning execution with budget and schedule. You will direct lifecycle activities, lead cross-functional reviews, mentor a ~10-engineer team, and drive process improvements while maintaining a U.S.

Qualifications

• Ten years of systems engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in aerospace, mechanical, or electrical engineering.
• Advanced technical and organizational leadership skills.
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation abilities.
• Proficiency with MS Project and Primavera.
• Experience leading an engineering team of ~10 engineers.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Direct end-to-end lifecycle of the program with cross-functional teams.
• Lead engineering to meet milestones and optimize the critical path.
• Manage budgets, cost performance and change requests.
• Serve as primary technical spokesperson and stakeholder liaison.
• Drive engineering process improvements and knowledge management.
• Provide people leadership for ~10 engineers.
• Participate in recruitment and staffing as needed.
