Job summary

UAB Medicine is seeking a qualified CRNA to lead anesthesia services at our Birmingham area facilities. You will coordinate perioperative care, mentor staff, and support surgeons in a busy academic community hospital setting.

Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program with at least two years of related experience is required; ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications are expected. Join a team of 15 anesthesiologists and 70+ CRNAs delivering high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program, with two years of related experience required.
• Experience in coordinating anesthesia services and leading clinical teams is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor staff and support academic medical environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead coordination of anesthesia services under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse procedures.
• Provide clinical instruction to nurse anesthesia students and act as a clinical resource.
• Lead daily operations, ensure staff coverage, and participate in performance evaluations.
