Job summary

The UAB Division of Community Anesthesia seeks a CRNA to serve in a lead capacity to coordinate anesthesia services under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests. The role includes participating in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students, acting as a clinical resource, and mentoring allied health staff to ensure efficient operations across a busy program at UAB St.

Qualifications

• Lead capability to coordinate anesthesia services under the direction of an anesthesiologist.
• Participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
• Mentor and coach allied health personnel and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care by coordinating anesthesia services across diverse procedures.
• Ensures staffing coverage and workflow efficiency across operating rooms.
• Serves as a clinical resource to staff and students.
• Leads daily operations and participates in evaluations.
