Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is seeking an on-site Facilities Engineer in Irving, TX to lead operations and maintenance of critical building systems. You will guide a high-performing engineering team, ensure uptime, and oversee preventive maintenance programs and safety compliance.

The role involves hands-on technical leadership, training staff, coordinating with contractors, and developing annual maintenance plans to improve infrastructure and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical/electrical/fire safety systems.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance and work orders.
• Ability to lead engineers and coordinate with contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift operations and maintenance for critical building systems.
• Monitor equipment (HVAC, UPS, generators, chillers, BMS).
• Provide training and support to shift staff and manage PM programs.
• Handle emergencies with real-time technical guidance and documentation.
