Job summary

Connections Health Solutions is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time Front End Day role in Phoenix, AZ. The RN assesses consumers, documents triage findings, and supports crisis intervention with education for patients and families.

The position requires an active AZ RN license, 1+ year in psychiatric/behavioral health, and ER/crisis experience. Shift differentials and comprehensive benefits are offered as part of full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Nursing program.
• Unrestricted active RN license in Arizona or multistate license.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• At least 1 year of psychiatric/behavioral health experience.
• Previous ER/crisis psychiatry experience.
• Knowledge of Court-Ordered Treatment processes and addiction management.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments including triage and health evaluations.
• Collaborate with the Multidisciplinary Clinical team to plan treatment.
• Educate patients and families on psychiatric diagnoses, treatments, and medications.
• De-escalate potentially volatile situations with crisis intervention techniques.
• Document medication administration, orders, and care plans accurately.
• Assist with discharge planning and coordination with facilities as needed.
