Job summary

The City National Bank seeks a Lead Credit Analyst in Sulphur Springs, TX to oversee credit analysis, supervise analysts, and ensure timely evaluation of loan applications. You will develop policies and coordinate with other departments to improve lending processes while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates have strong financial statement analysis skills and experience with loan tracking reports, with the ability to mentor staff and manage priorities in a fast-paced banking

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Statistics, or Mathematics or equivalent experience.
• Two+ years’ experience in loan credit analysis in a banking environment.
• Superior knowledge of analyzing financial statements and tax returns in a banking environment.
• Knowledge and comprehension of banking regulations applicable to loans.
• One year’s experience designing and programming loan tracking reports.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the credit analysis function and ensure timely, accurate loan evaluations.
• Lead a team of credit analysts and develop credit policies.
• Collaborate with departments to enhance lending processes while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Assign tasks for loan review, analysis, and loan request packets.
• Design and generate tracking and monitoring reports for management and the Board.
