Job summary

City National Bank of Sulphur Springs is seeking a Loan Administrative Assistant to support the Loan Officer by gathering and compiling information for monitoring existing customers and new loan applicants. The role emphasizes accurate documentation, strong communication, and professional customer service in a banking environment, with standard hours Monday to Friday.

Experience in loan processing is preferred but not required, and candidate should be detail-oriented and trustworthy.

Responsibilities

• Assists potential borrowers with completion of initial loan applications; reviews submitted applications for accuracy and completion, requesting additional information or detail as needed.
• Verifies information and financial history provided; acquires borrowers’ credit reports from major credit reporting bureau(s).
• Facilitates information between customers and potential customers with loan officers.
• Assist Loan Officer in preparation of documentation necessary to fund and secure loans.
• Works closely with the bank’s Audit and Loan Control Departments to ensure customer loan files are documented in compliance with bank and regulatory requirements.
• Performs clerical duties including typing, filing, and completion of forms.
• Operates office machines including copiers, scanners, phone and voicemail systems, personal computers, and other standard office equipment.
• Greets visitors and applicants.
• Answers phones, directs calls to appropriate individuals, and prepares messages.
• Manages calendars and schedules appointments.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
