Job summary

City National Bank of Sulphur Springs is seeking a Lead Credit Analyst to oversee the credit analysis function, ensuring timely, accurate evaluation of loan applications and borrower creditworthiness. You will lead a team of analysts, develop credit policies, and collaborate with departments to improve lending processes while maintaining regulatory compliance.

The role requires 2+ years in loan credit analysis, strong financial statement analysis skills, and experience designing loan tracking

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in loan credit analysis in banking environment.
• Superior knowledge of analyzing financial statements and tax returns in banking context.
• Knowledge of banking regulations applicable to loans.
• 1 year experience designing and programming loan tracking reports.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage credit analysis function and staff.
• Ensure timely and accurate evaluation of loan applications and borrower creditworthiness.
• Develop credit policies and monitor adherence across departments.
• Prepare tracking and monitoring reports for management and Board of Directors.
• Train Credit Analysts and implement ongoing development programs.
