Job summary

Nuvacore is building ground-up high performance, low-power CPUs for next-gen compute workloads. As a CPU Micro-Architect/RTL Engineer, you will participate in micro-architecture development, RTL design and verification, working with performance modeling and PD teams.

This role emphasizes rigorous RTL coding, timing/power/area optimization, and collaboration across verification and physical design. Requires advanced degrees and 15+ years leading CPU design; remote/hybrid options may apply.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in EE/CS with 15+ years leading CPU design or 7+ years IC design.
• Proficient in Verilog, debugging, simulation; experience enabling RTL coding for AI engines.
• Solid understanding of logic, physical design, timing, power and area impacts; CPU ISA knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Micro-architecture development from design strategy to detailed specification.
• RTL design to meet power, performance, area and timing goals.
• Verification: test benches, formal methods, simulations/emulation.
• Collaborate on physical design, DFT, timing, power, and reliability.
