The Superior Court of California, County of San Mateo, located in Redwood City, seeks a Court Information Technology Manager – Infrastructure to lead mission-critical, public-sector enterprise technology initiatives. Qualifications

• Five years of progressive, hands-on experience in enterprise systems engineering, network administration, or IT infrastructure operations with at least two years in a supervisory role.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS or closely related discipline; substitution allowed on a year-for-year basis.
• Desirable certifications: Nutanix NCP/NCM, VMware VCP, Cisco CCNP, Fortinet NSE or equivalent engineering credentials.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise infrastructure migrations, server hardware lifecycles, storage fabric, and virtualization platform transitions.
• Configure, optimize, and manage hypervisor environments, storage tiers, high-availability clusters, and cross-platform migrations.
• Serve as Tier-3 escalation authority for outages, perform diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Harden perimeter defenses, secure remote access, and implement zero-trust identity architectures.
• Design and test disaster recovery, backups, and immutable data protection.
• Engineer campus-wide LAN/WAN, core routing, and VLANs.
