Located at the Hall of Justice in Redwood City and branch facilities throughout San Mateo County, the Superior Court of California is seeking a dynamic, solutions-driven Courts Senior Information Technology Technician. This is a Tier-2/Tier-3 hands-on technical role bridging advanced endpoint engineering, enterprise systems administration, and white-glove customer support for judicial officers, courtroom staff, and court administration.
The ideal candidate operates like a modern systems administrator on the ground: highly proficient in Microsoft 365 administration, Windows enterprise deployment, active directory/identity management, and cloud collaboration, paired with an innate ownership mindset and exceptional customer service acumen under pressure.
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities is qualifying.
To be successful in this position, the ideal candidate will have at least, three (3) years of progressive, hands‑on experience in IT technical support, desktop engineering, or systems administration. Experience must demonstrate direct administration of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, enterprise endpoint management, and high‑touch customer support. (An Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field may substitute for up to one year of experience).
Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator / Endpoint Administrator (MD-102), Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals (MS-900), CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent vendor credentials are strongly preferred.
