Job summary

Rexel USA invites a Counter Sales Representative to join our Platt team in Puyallup, WA. You will deliver excellent customer service, support showroom sales, process orders, and help stock and maintain the counter area.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in customer service or sales, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift/move items. Forklift certification is a plus; bilingual skills are a bonus. This position offers competitive pay, benefits, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service, sales, or electrical distribution experience preferred
• Previous branch experience preferred
• Certification to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment preferred
• If required to drive: Must have a valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers promptly and courteously with their purchases and processing of their orders or returns
• Assist in driving electrical distribution sales for our counter business and developing new and existing customer relationships
• Stay informed and educated on product knowledge
• Inform manager of any potentially hazard or elevated situation pertaining to safety or the satisfaction of a customer
• Assist with daily restocking, showroom maintenance, and keeping showroom and counter clean and organized
• May be required to perform other job functions within a branch when required including but not limited to inside sales, preparing and filling orders and/or receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping material, and maintaining branch equipment
• May be required to make deliveries up to 20% of the time
• Perform other duties as assigned
