Job summary

Teva Pharmaceuticals USA is seeking an Attorney to support its medicines and biosimilars portfolio in the United States, advising on marketing strategy, regulatory issues, and training across departments. You will handle influential committees, draft agreements, and counsel on complex compliance matters.

The role requires a JD, 4+ years in law, and NJ bar readiness, with strong communication and teamwork skills to operate across a broad legal function.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate Degree from a nationally accredited school required.
• Minimum 4 years in law firm or in-house legal department.
• Minimum 3 years advising pharmaceutical manufacturers or healthcare providers on commercial regulatory issues.
• Admission to NJ state bar in good standing or active license in at least one US state; ability to obtain NJ in-house counsel license within 90 days.
• Familiarity with the federal Anti-Kickback Statute, False Claims Act, and US privacy laws.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work independently and in teams.

Responsibilities

• Advise US Marketing, Sales and Medical Affairs on strategy and training related to disease awareness, campaigns, patient support programs, and Market Access.
• Participate in Promotion and Advertising Review Committees for assigned products.
• Draft, review and revise commercial agreements with healthcare professionals, vendors, licensors, consultants and speakers.
• Participate in brand leadership committees and strategic planning within product areas.
• Identify legal issues affecting Teva and advise on resolutions; collaborate with cross-functional teams.
