PharmaEssentia USA is seeking a qualified attorney to provide day-to-day legal advice on the operation and promotion of a branded pharmaceutical business from our Burlington, MA office. The role supports marketing, patient services, regulatory, and compliance teams in a hybrid work setting.

The ideal candidate has a JD and 3+ years in life sciences, with experience in advertising and promotion, HCP/HCO interactions, and healthcare compliance.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 3+ years of legal experience advising life sciences companies, preferably in-house.
• Experience with pharmaceutical/medical device advertising, promotion, and compliance.
• Strong ability to communicate practical legal guidance to non-lawyers in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day legal advice on advertising, promotion, patient support programs, and HCP/HCO interactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial and healthcare-related agreements.
• Support compliance programs addressing drug promotion, transparency, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor developments in FDA rules and other U.S. healthcare regulations and train staff accordingly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business initiatives with legal risk management.
