Job summary

Trustpoint.One is seeking a temporary Lead Counsel to partner with a material sciences company, providing end-to-end legal leadership on commercial, IP, and regulatory matters.

The successful candidate will support four global business units, drive strategic guidance, and navigate complex risk landscapes. This is a temporary role with potential for direct-hire, requiring on-site work in Northeastern Maryland for one week per month and ~10% travel.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) required with active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Demonstrated leadership in high-impact commercial, IP, and/or regulatory matters.
• Proven experience supporting global, multi-business or multi-product organizations.
• Willingness to travel approximately 10%, including international travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end legal leadership and serve as a strategic partner to senior business leaders on commercial, IP, and regulatory matters.
• Shape business strategies, navigate complex risk landscapes, and enable growth in highly technical markets.
• Support global operations and coordinate with multiple business units; may convert to direct-hire.
