Qualifications

• 5+ years of post-bar legal experience in relevant regulatory contexts.
• Juris Doctor degree and bar admission to practice law.
• Experience advising on autonomous vehicle, robotics, or related regulatory matters.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary legal counsel for autonomous vehicle and robotics initiatives supporting last mile delivery.
• Advise on federal and state regulatory compliance for autonomous vehicles, including NHTSA and DOT requirements.
• Provide product counseling on autonomous systems and related hardware/software development.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex technology licenses, partnerships, and vendor contracts.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, product management, and policy teams on strategic initiatives.
• Develop scalable legal processes to support rapid deployment across jurisdictions.
• Manage relationships with outside counsel on regulatory matters and litigation.
• Advise on AI, data privacy, cybersecurity, and IP issues related to autonomous systems.
• Support risk assessment and mitigation for novel technology deployments.
• Engage with public policy teams on regulatory engagement and advocacy.
