Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Senior Cost Manager and/or Quantity Surveyor to act as the day-to-day client interface for a major pharmaceutical and consumer health manufacturing expansion program in Wilson, North Carolina. You will deliver value-added cost management services through planning, design, construction, and closeout, guiding budgets and commercial strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related construction field.
• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in a cost management role within the construction industry.
• RICS accreditation preferred or actively pursuing.
• Experience leading cost management services on medium to large-scale projects with high complexity.
• Experience leading cost management on industrial/pharma/manufacturing or consumer products capital projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Estimate and negotiate change orders throughout the construction lifecycle.
• Provide estimate and cost planning services, including presenting final cost plans.
• Review and participate with design services team and GC in cost estimates.
• Reconcile changes and assist GC to ensure cost data is accurate.
• Prepare cost updates and executive summaries for stakeholders.
• Coordinate cost information from suppliers, subcontractors, and design data.
• Lead value engineering sessions and funding presentations.
• Produce monthly cost reports and manage project accounts.
