Job summary

• Strong knowledge of material, labor, and overhead cost estimating processes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and organize the daily operations of the Estimating Department, ensuring clear priorities and timely completion of assignments.
• Oversee the full estimating process, from the initial review of project documents through the final submission of proposals.
• Analyze and interpret blueprints, technical specifications, addenda, RFIs, and contract documents to validate project scope and requirements.
• Review and audit estimates to ensure accuracy in quantities, costs, margins, commercial terms, and compliance with project requirements.
• Provide technical support, mentoring, and direction to estimators and junior estimators.
• Collaborate with Sales, Project Management, Engineering, Operations, and Procurement teams to ensure estimates are aligned with the company’s capabilities and business strategies.
