Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Lead Cost Accountant to join their team in Tulsa, OK. You will own cost accounting processes, drive manufacturing cost accuracy, and support strategic financial reporting for a key site.

Ideal candidates bring manufacturing accounting experience, strong cost accounting and GAAP knowledge, and the ability to analyze large data sets. The role offers leadership exposure and a comprehensive benefits package, with onsite collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
• Six to ten years of accounting experience in manufacturing.
• Strong cost accounting and financial reporting knowledge.
• Proficiency with Excel and standard business applications.
• Understanding of GAAP and accounting best practices.
• Experience with inventory and general ledger reconciliations.
• Ability to analyze large data sets accurately.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze monthly gross profit and general ledger activity.
• Review spending trends and explain budget variances.
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and supporting analyses.
• Maintain KPI reporting and related reconciliations.
• Support monthly close, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Track inventory, COGS, and SOX control compliance.
• Coordinate cycle counts and annual physical inventories.
• Support intercompany reconciliations and eliminations.
• Assist with audits, tax support, and special projects.
• Monitor fixed assets and capital expenditure activity.

Compensation:

$ 90000 - 115000 annually, depending on experience

This is a strong opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys taking ownership, improving processes, and supporting a manufacturing operation from a strategic finance perspective. In this role, you will help drive cost accounting accuracy, financial reporting, and operational insight for a key Tulsa facility, with room to step into broader leadership responsibility over time.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Analyze monthly gross profit and general ledger activity
• Review spending trends and explain budget variances
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and supporting analyses
• Maintain KPI reporting and related reconciliations
• Support monthly close, journal entries, and account reconciliations
