Qualifications

• This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent; DCJS certification and security experience are essential.
• Considerable experience in corrections or law enforcement with staff supervision.
• Ability to plan, schedule, and organize work; review records and apply post orders.

Responsibilities

• This position serves as the Institutional Lead Investigator and handles information from staff, inmates and the public regarding crimes or policy violations.
• Investigates assignments from the OLES Assistant Deputy Chiefs and the Regional Captain; coordinates schedules and duty rosters.
• Leads staff, provides guidance, and participates in performance management; conducts inspections to maintain security and order.
• Maintains orderly operations through interaction with management, staff, visitors, inmates and the public.
