Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and five years of experience directly related to instruction and training, including two years in an administrative or coordinative capacity.
• Ability to create and design training materials, compile data into meaningful reports, and create/conduct surveys.
• Skilled in statistics, basic analytical math, and test measurements.
• Working knowledge of instructional methods, techniques, concepts, and processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, plan, and implement courses of instruction for the Department of Adult Correction Basic Certified Mandated Training and/or Certified Instructor level training.
• Manage three Basic Training Coordinators and their sections.
• Ensure fair and equitable distribution of training resources for Basic Training Programs conducted in an overnight setting.
• Serve as one of two School Directors for these Basic Training Programs as certified and mandated by the North Carolina Criminal Justice Education and Standards Commission.

Education
