Job summary

The North Carolina Department of Justice in Raleigh seeks a Criminal Justice Training Coordinator II (NS) to lead the In-service and Online Training development team that supports the Education and Training Standards Commissions and law enforcement personnel statewide.

You will supervise twelve staff, oversee curricula development, coordinate training schedules, ensure regulatory compliance, and serve as liaison to client agencies, with some travel required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in criminology, criminal justice, or a related field.
• Four years of progressively responsible experience including administrative and supervisory roles.
• Experience with state commissions or advisory groups preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the In-service and Online Training development team for state mandates.
• Supervise twelve team members across instructional roles.
• Oversee creation and revision of training curricula for adult learners.
• Coordinate with client agencies, assess training needs, and provide technical assistance.
• Ensure timely submission of administrative documentation and guide curriculum updates.
