Job summary

The North Carolina Department of Adult Correction seeks a Correctional Training Coordinator II to plan and implement training for the Basic Certified Mandated Training and Certified Instructor level programs in the Western Region.

You will supervise three Basic Training Coordinators, manage resources, and serve as the School Director for Basic Training Programs as mandated by the NC Criminal Justice Education and Standards Commission. Statewide travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and five years of related instruction/training experience.
• Experience aligning curricula with mandated training standards.
• Ability to design training materials and analyses.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement Basic Certified Mandated Training programs.
• Manage three Basic Training Coordinators and their sections.
• Serve as School Director for Basic Training Programs as required.
