Job summary

TerraPower LLC. in Bellevue, Washington, seeks a Manager, Core Thermal Hydraulics Methods & Analysis to lead the TH methods team focused on core flow, heat transfer, and reactor component loads. You will guide CFD analyses, validate methodologies, and shape strategies for next‑gen reactor designs.

The role requires extensive experience in thermal hydraulics, CFD tools, and cross‑disciplinary collaboration, with leadership responsibilities and a emphasis on safe, compliant engineering practice.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years in thermal hydraulic analysis with a B.S. or 8+ years with an advanced degree.
• Experience coordinating technical teams for project delivery.
• Proficiency with CFD tools, especially STAR-CCM+; knowledge of nuclear reactor hydraulics.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Core TH Methods & Analysis team.
• Ensure compliance with procedures, standards, and regulatory criteria.
• Approve technical deliverables on thermal-hydraulic analyses and methods.
• Establish best practices and communicate priorities to stakeholders.
• Oversee staffing, hiring, performance reviews, and career development.
