The role requires prior cook or chef experience and offers supervisory duties, with focus on safety, quality, and timely meals in a supportive care setting. Full-time schedule includes daytime hours with every other weekend work.

Qualifikationen

• Previous experience as a cook or chef is required.
• Supervisory experience is preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow recipes, written instructions, and workplace procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Ability to present information clearly to individuals and small groups.
• Good judgment and the ability to follow written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions.

Aufgaben

• Supervise and coordinate food production in the Grill in collaboration with other Cook Supervisors and the Executive Chef.
• Prepare menu items according to established recipes and ensure meals meet quality standards and service timelines.
• Train new food service team members and cooks assigned to the Grill.
• Develop food production worksheets and lead daily production meetings based on the weekly Grill menu.
• Enforce food safety standards and ensure compliance with HACCP guidelines.
• Respond to resident complaints and special requests with a positive, customer-focused approach.
• Prioritize resident satisfaction by delivering friendly, attentive service and responding to individual needs.
