Job summary

Liberty Lutheran in Philadelphia is seeking a Full Time Dining Services Supervisor for Paul’s Run Retirement Community. You will oversee dietary operations, coordinate menus, and ensure health and safety compliance while engaging with residents and staff.

The role involves leading a dietary team, processing diet orders, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience.
• Serv Safe certification or ability to obtain certification within first 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Process diet orders and changes per Nurse or Dietician orders.
• Develop, distribute and tally menus daily.
• Maintain resident diet Cardex, diet cards and tickets daily.
• Answer telephone, take messages and relay information as needed.
• Maintain DOH compliance for Philadelphia City and PA State regulations.
• Schedule, assign, delegate and instruct dietary team members.
• Visit residents and assist in obtaining completed menus.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement.

Key job responsibilities include:

• Process diet orders and diet changes per Nurse or Dietician orders.
• Develop, distribute and tally menus on a daily basis.
• Maintain all resident diet Cardex, diet cards, and/or tickets on a daily basis.
• Answer telephone, take messages and relay information as needed.
• Maintain DOH compliance for Philadelphia City and Pennsylvania State regulations.
• Schedule, assign, delegate and instruct dietary team members.
• Visit with residents and assist in obtaining completed menus.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement.

Shift/Schedule available:

• Full-Time: 11:00am-7:00pm and 6:00am-2:00pm including every other weekend.

Education and Experience:

1. 1. High School diploma or equivalent.
   2. Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience.
   3. Serv Safe certification or ability to obtain certification within first 90 days.
