Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities, Inc. is seeking a Lead Cook to join our culinary team in Pennsylvania. You will lead line cooking, follow established recipes, and support training for line cooks while ensuring smooth service.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, at least four years of progressive kitchen experience, and ServeSafe certification (or willingness to obtain within three months). This on-site role offers competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years’ progressive responsibility in a full-service restaurant, catering, healthcare, country club/hotel, or cruise line environment.
• ServeSafe Certification (or willing to obtain within three months).
• Experienced in all cooking stations and methods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals and follow established recipes.
• Support kitchen staff and ensure the restaurant runs smoothly through each meal service.
