Job summary

Forefront is seeking a committed culinary associate to prepare nutritious meals for residents in accordance with approved menus and safety guidelines. You will ensure accurate portioning, monitor temperatures, and maintain strict sanitation standards while supporting inventory and vendor receiving processes.

The role requires the ability to work under pressure, both independently and in a team, with availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
• Experience following established recipes and portion control.
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals in accordance with planned menus.
• Serve food with established portion control.
• Prepare food following standardized recipes and special requests.
• Ensure proper temperatures and complete checklists/logs.
• Assist with inventory management and receiving from vendors.
• Coordinate with Executive Chef/Chef Manager on menus and requests.
• Adapt schedule for emergencies.
• Follow safe food handling policies including glove use.
• Assist in daily cleaning tasks per policies.
