Job summary

Harrah's Resort Southern California in Valley Center, CA is hiring a Cook III for the main kitchen. This full-time, on-site role will lead the line, prepare all food orders to Harrah’s standards, and maintain kitchen cleanliness and safety.

You will supervise cooks, manage production levels, and support the chef in a high-volume environment while upholding USPH guidelines and company values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 2 years of high-volume cooking experience in a quality establishment.
• 1-year culinary arts education or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all food orders promptly according to Harrah’s standards and kitchen guide.
• Lead the work crew, direct production on the line and in the back kitchen when needed.
• Maintain organization, cleanliness and sanitation per USPH standards.
• Ensure ingredients meet recipe standards and quality, and monitor production levels.
• Assist the chef and train Cook I/II; support front/back of house as needed.
