Harrah’s and Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe is seeking a seasoned Cook to prepare quality menu items in a fast-paced resort kitchen. You will perform Cook I and II duties, supervise junior staff, and ensure sanitary, well-stocked outlets across multiple venues.

The role requires strong English communication, 5+ years cooking in high-quality establishments, and flexibility to work at various outlets within the resort.

Qualificações

• High school diploma preferred; culinary certificates encouraged.
• Minimum of 5 years cooking in a high-quality establishment.
• Expert skill level on all cook stations; leadership in coaching for success.

Responsabilidades

• Performs all functions of Cook I and Cook II.
• Maintains adequate supply of menu items.
• Maintains sanitary conditions and equipment in operation.
• Inspects areas and coordinates cleaning with Kitchen Steward.
• Regularly inspects steam table food for freshness.
• Protects company assets against stealing, breakage and waste.
• Maintains portion controls.
• Provides leadership and training to lower level cooks.
• Updates cooking knowledge through Chef interactions.
