Nicklaus Children's Health System in Florida is seeking an experienced food service supervisor to help manage daily operations in the Nutrition Services department, ensure safe, nutritious meals, and uphold patient and guest service standards.

You will oversee inventory, scheduling, HACCP records, sanitation, and staff training, while addressing customer concerns, maintaining food safety, and supporting a positive, collaborative hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Active ServSafe Certification required within 30 days of hire.
• 1-3 years of experience with food production in healthcare or retail setting.
• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in supervisory role preferred.
• Experience in customer complaint management preferred.

Responsabilités

• Opens and closes the department, including checking equipment functionality and staffing needs.
• Coordinates and monitors that all tasks are performed per procedures and policies by production staff.
• Trains and mentors staff on daily department operations, customer service, and sanitation.
• Notifies management about damages or malfunctions and coordinates service calls when needed.
• Delivers quality customer service and ensures complete menu availability during hours of operation.
• Reviews department goals and shares best practices with staff.
