Nicklaushealth in Miami, FL seeks a Food & Nutrition Services supervisor to assist daily operations under the Executive and Sous Chefs. You will help monitor inventory, orders, receiving, storing, food prep, cooking, and serving while ensuring sanitation, infection control, and policy adherence for outstanding customer service and clean food areas.

• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Healthcare retail food service experience preferred.
• Experience in supervisory role preferred.
• Experience in customer complaint management preferred.
• Proficiency in food safety and proper cooking techniques.

Responsabilidades

• Opens and closes the department and ensures equipment functionality and supplies.
• Coordinates and monitors tasks to ensure procedures are followed by production staff.
• Trains and mentors staff on daily operations, customer service, portioning, cooking techniques, safety, and sanitation.
• Notifies management about damages or malfunctions and arranges service as needed.
• Delivers quality customer service by ensuring menu availability and adherence to values.
• Drives service excellence by reviewing goals and sharing best practices with staff.
• Maintains records and reports (HACCP, temperature logs, production, waste) per guidelines.
• Ensures infection control and safety guidelines are followed per policy and regulatory requirements.
• Maintains adequate food supply in retail outlets by following production sheets and replenishing stock.
• Sets up and presents food that is appealing and aligned with standardized recipes for patients, retail, and catering.
• Maintains composure during high volume periods to set a positive example.
• Identifies potential risks and supports problem resolution.
