Job summary

Nicklaus Children's Health System is seeking a Food & Nutrition Services professional to assist the Retail & Food Services Supervisor in daily operations of cafeteria and retail outlets. You will help monitor production, inventory, sanitation, and customer service quality across outlets.

The role emphasizes training staff, handling cash procedures, maintaining HACCP logs, and ensuring compliance with safety standards in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Active ServSafe Certification within 30 days of hire.
• 1-3 years of healthcare and/or retail food service experience.
• Proficient in food safety practices and HACCP concepts.

Responsibilities

• Assist with opening/closing department and ensure staffing meets needs.
• Monitor outlets to report deficiencies in production, inventory and sanitation.
• coach staff on customer service, portioning, and safety standards.
• Maintain records and reports (HACCP logs, temperature records) per guidelines.
• Ensure infection control and safety guidelines are followed.
