Job summary

Eurest, a part of Compass Group USA, is hiring immediately for a full-time CHEF in Warsaw, IN. The shift runs Monday through Friday from 6:15 am to 2:30 pm, with a focus on food safety, recipe execution, and quality service.

Qualifications

• Must hold a food safety certification and have at least 2 years of cooking experience.
• Ability to accurately execute standardized recipes and maintain quality.
• Strong time-management skills to meet production schedules.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate cooks and kitchen staff to prepare and serve food.
• Ensure sanitation, food handling and customer service standards are met.
• Interview and schedule hourly kitchen staff; assist with payroll and training.
• Prepare high-quality items according to recipes to meet schedules.
• Maintain proper presentation, quality, and serving temperatures.
• Track food usage and waste; assist with purchasing when needed.
• Inspect received goods for quality and quantity; manage inventory.
• Keep workstation and equipment clean and sanitary.
• Assist in recipe and menu development.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
