Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality at Deloitte University Hotel & Conference Center in Westlake, TX, is seeking a full-time Cook I to lead and mentor our culinary team in high-volume production across multiple venues. The role ensures quality and consistency of menu items, while supporting the execution of banquet, market, and à la carte operations for our associates and guests.

Ideal candidates have at least three years of culinary experience, training from a culinary school, and strong knife skills.

Provide feedback for improvement to the team.Prepare food and menu items according to standard recipes.Monitor production and quality levels of all food products.Assist in developing and presenting new menu items to ensure they stay fresh and innovative for our guests.Receiving and put away food requisitions checking for food products quality and amount.Inspect all refrigeration and dry storage for proper handling and rotation.Ensure that the stations are set up for service but also clean and that all food items are properly covered and stored at the end of shift.Assist in leading and participating in the preparation and execution of food in other kitchens within the hotel, as needed.
