Job summary

Sodexo at Endicott College is seeking a Lead Cook who thrives in a team environment and is passionate about fresh, nutritious food. You’ll prepare items across breakfast, lunch, dinner and special events while keeping customer service at the heart of every plate.

You will read recipes, assist with a la carte service, mentor teammates, and help manage daily operations with flexibility and reliability. A strong focus on food safety and consistent quality is expected.

Qualifications

• 3 - 4 years of related work experience preferred.
• Team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and nurturers of a healthy/safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods.
• Read and follow basic recipes and/or product directions for preparing various food items
• May prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and/or operate a grill station
• May support management in the daily oversight of key functions and employees during the normal course of business
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
